Ad Club Madras and Jenson & Nicholson Presents 41st Madras Advertising Club Awards Maddys 2022 powered by Black Sheep was held on Saturday, the 25th June 2022 at Hotel Taj Coromandel. The Digital Category Sponsor was ABP Nadu.
The event started off with the welcome address by Paul Anthony, President of the Club
The Creative Agency of the year was RK Swamy BBDO. They had won 6 Silver and 7 Bronze trophies, It was closely followed by OPN Advertising (5 Silvers, 5 Bronzes)
Wavemaker won the Media Agency of the year with 4 Bronzes and 1 Silver.
ITC Sixth Sense lone entrant to strike Gold; Vijay TV, Options Media, Kadhai Films, Paradox69, Mango Post and The Hindu werethe other notable winners .
The entire process of entry and judging was done online. We had a 12 member Jury panel that combed the entries through some stringent parameters. The panel included 3 International judges 1. Mr.Joji Jacob, Co-Founder & Creative Partner at BLKJ, Singapore. 2. Mr.Oliver Oest, Managing Partner Tinkerbelle, Germany. 3. Mr.Ali Shabaz, Chief Creative Officer, M&C Saatchi Group Singapore. 4. Mr.Agnello Dias, Ex Creative Chairman, Dentsu India & Co-Founder, Taproot Dentsu. 5. Mr.Narayan Devanathan, Chief Client Officer,- Dentsu International, India 6. Mr.Niranjan, Creative Director, Why Axis. 7. Mr.Prathap Suthan, Co-Founder & CCO, Bang in the Middle, 8. Mr.D Ramakrishna, Founder, Cartwheel Creative Consultancy. 9.
